Application of the 3DC Model enables a methodical and practical approach to

  • recognising various communication styles and motives
  • consciously reflecting on one's own communication palette, and expansion and positive development of this palette
  • addressing various conversation partners individually and as a group in a more purposeful and varied way

Practical experience with the 3DC Model shows that reducing human communication to three dimensions / styles makes it easy to understand and the behaviour codes are easy to learn. It is interesting that, despite this reduction to three styles, the model can capture the diverse communication forms very well: The human brain seems to recreate the complexity of reality intuitively through interpolation within the three dimensions.

The 3DC Model is applicable in all areas of human communication: business, science, public relations, media, education, instruction, the private sphere, culture, politics, society and sports, among others.
